We need single-ion addressing for the octupole (“Octopus”) transition of 172Yb ion and we have started setting up a new breadboard for the purpose, hoping that there will be no more problems like the 2.4GHz AOM ☹. Need to be optimistic! That’s the spirit! At least the first 200MHz AOM is working fine! Lol!
