News from our research group

Fatemeh Salahshoori successfully defended her master's thesis!

Some of us still use the good ol' thumb screws and twitchy collimators for fibre coupling - Fatemeh is looking at much smaller/"nanoer" techniques!

Her master's thesis titled "Development and characterization of advanced incoupling structures for nanofabricated single-mode waveguides" and especially everything she worked on in course of that was a huge contribution to our group. Having gained a lot of experience and new insights, she might even stay for a little bit longer within QuACCS to extend her studies.

Afterwards, we had a nice get together to celebrate this nice occasion.
