Hartmut Nimrod Hausser has joined the QuaCCS team as a master student. He will work on the Indium detection laser setup and photonic crystal fibers in the deep UV as a part of his master thesis.

Dr. Miroslav Dolezal has joined the QuaCCS team as a visiting scientist from CMI (Czech Metrology Institute) until December.

Chih-Han Yeh has joined the QuaCCS team as a master student. He will work on a test of local Lorentz invariance (LLI) with two entangled Ytterbium ions.

The topic of his thesis is:

‘Modelling and Measuring Nanofriction in Ion Coulomb Crystals’

Janning Meinert has joined the QuaCCS team as a MetroSommer student. He will work on a slave laser system for the ytterbium octopole clock laser.

Dr. Stepan Ignatovich has joined the QuaCCS team as a visiting scientist from the Institute of Laser Physics in Novosibirsk until June 29th. He is working with us on the Indium clock laser.
