Lars Timm started his master thesis as a joined student of he AG Santos at the Institute of Theoretical Physics of Hannover University and the QuaCCS team at PTB in April 2018. He will work on thermal transport and temperature distributions in ion Coulomb crystals.

Dr. Stepan Ignatovich has rejoined the QuaCCS team as a visiting scientist from the Institute of Laser Physics in Novosibirsk until December 15th. He is working with us on the indium clock laser.
